Whitetails on ice

I don't know if any of you have seen this so I thought I'd post it. A couple of whitetails tangled up on an frozen creek. Quite a dance they had.

Thats what I thought to. Wild. Gun shot to the head, blast its antler right off, and hes still fighting with the other one!! Crazy!!

What a cluster f----! Shows how a group is mostly talk and little action. If the ice held me, I'd have used the forked stick to push that poor bas---d over to the shore. Were they afraid or what?The remaining buck was close to death for sure--exhausted beyond belief. Can't figure why they didn't blow more horn off--they DO grow back.
At least one got away. The ice can be a killer for sure.

Thats was one real cool video you posted up to see ,that one buck was real persistent on wanting to continue to fight even after he got his antlers unlocked.

The dog owner of that one dog that kept going after the deer the owner should have contained him better I would have thought.

I wonder if that bigger buck made it. He was struggling quite a bit. Last time I saw a deer that exhausted, it wasn't long before it was taken out by 'yotes. It'd fallen through the ice on the river and we scared the coyotes away once, the deer got out of the hole and laid down on the ice, but I had to go to work. Time I got back, the dogs'd come back and tore it apart. ):


So hopefully that big guy recuperated ok. It'd be sad to see a big buck like that end up not making it after all that lol. That's life, though.
