Set a trail cam up the mountain today

Went up the mountain today and set the trail cam on this buck scrape. Have to move the log across the road in the spring. We can not seem to keep the hot tub time machine clean. Any suggestions. Found a few trails that look like a black tail deers super highway. I nothing appears on the scrape then I will put the camera on the trail. This is very steep. I kept looking for goats. Came back out to open the gate and a grouse flew up and scared the crap out of me.

I had the cam on this one for a week. Cam took a few pics then stopped running. Crappy batteries. This area I watched two big bucks fighting.

Good luck. Looking forward to the photos. I've found various tubs etc... out there as well. Weird.

Yup. Nothing gets your heart going like the sound of a grouse taking off only a few yards away!

I agree! The vibrations those wings can generate is crazy. The first time I heard a grouse, it took off a few feet from me and made my heart pump!

Had one bust a stalk on a couple WT bucks. bloody things.
