My late season muley hunt today PICS incl

Fortunatly my son and I had today off being the last day for mule with a bow.I went out last sunday in the -11 c weather and saw dick but froze it off almost.Today was much warmer and the muleys were moving about abd still rutting.My #1 son spotted this big guy and we had no chance at first but came back an hour later and I spotted him with a doe.#1 son was still on the quad I yelled at him to grab the quiver and follow me.After some sneaking up I got to within 50yds and was laying down to see him thru the brush.First arrow I was low and hit some brush.As luck would have it the doe booked and the buck stayed put.My son said dad your low so I put the lowest line on the top of his back and fired.I was very lucky this time as it was a thru and thru the jugular,he bled out very quickly and maybe went 150yds down hill.Best part as we were able to get the quad right down too him.Its been a great season for my boys and I 3 WT and this mule.Next year I have to purchase another bow for my son.I will give him my old titan 10 point.Any suggestions on a new bow? I would never have gotten this big guy if it was not for my #1 son .It is what I call a 50/50 buck we both worked him together.His words when we were standing over him in the snow where.Dad where getting real good at this hunting,I had to aggre that makes 12 bucks in the last 3 yrs with my 2 boys and I,smallest being a large 3 point hybrid

The back tine one the lg side is 11" and the next one too it is 10 plus inches.I will have to get someone to score it for me.Its the second biggest mule I saw this year the other was bigger and thicker but in the city limits

Could not wait till next year for a new bow!! I put money down on a new Excalibur Equinox with the right stuff package.I will have to be happy target shooting it till next season comes around

Thanks for all the compliments!I did purchase a new excalibur equinox for next seasons hunt and will pass on the old reliable titan ten point to by boys to use.I saw lots of smaller 2-3 points in my favorite spot so hopefully next year there are some more quality 4 points in there
