Here are some of my favorite trail cam pictures captured leading up to the 2010 archery season.

From my moose spot:

This is the night before my first hunting weekend of the season:

The next evening I setup at this spot with my camera and waited.
Viewer be warned this video contains a four letter word :???:...oops. I thought the shot hit higher then it actually did. A bit higher then I would of liked but still a double lung.

I gave him an hour before tracking, since I was not sure of the shot, but found him about 100 yards in the bush.

With help from my dad and the quads we got him back to camp, quartered and in the cooler... a long night of work when it was all done but the steaks are great!!

The next morning I realized I forgot my trail cam in the bush, so I went and got it. When we checked the card this guy was on it. He had come in while we were loading the downed bull in the bush.

Having my bull moose in the freezer, in early September, really took the pressure off. I had lots of time to chase elk and deer. Even though I put a lot of miles on my boots, through some thick country, I never did manage to get my elk. I did however find some great whitetail spots that paid off later. Stay tuned for some pictures and a writeup of my archery whitetail.

Note: this is my first post so please go easy. If I violated some rule let me know but please keep it soft.

As promised part II of Mountain_Matt's 2010 hunting season.

Here are some trail cam pictures from one of my deer spots. I have pictures from some other spots but they are on my computer at home. I am currently writing this from camp in the oil patch:

Wow good stuff! That white-tail is a beauty, not to mention with the bow. Cool moose video too, not easy to film and hunt by yourself at the same time. Congrats!
