Northern BC Elk question

Hi Everyone

I was just wondering if anyone could comment on the elk hunting this past year around the Chetwynd and Fort St. John area? I am looking to get up there next year and I was wondering what you thought. I am new to this forum and BC so any help you might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

the elk steaks from up there taste just as good as the ones from the previous years. We put four down in the first 3 or 4 days of Sept

We were there oct. long weekend and came home with 2,(cow calf) although I did see bulls.
