just thought id show a few pics of a couple whitails we got on our last trip to the kootenays this year, after spending 4 days sleeping in a tent trailer at -35 we got repayed with a nice 4x4. So theres a little story that goes on with that. We hunted hard for the first 3 days seeing about 10 bucks a day but holding off. So the night before we get this buck we end up getting sh*t faced and sleeping in. We get out to where were hunting and the first slash we pull into he's standing on the road. he takes off down the slash, I head him off by running rambo style down a skidder trail, set up and hit him running at 150-200 yard shot and he goes down, pretty excited. not a high percentage shot i like taking but he looked real big running. And without fail now we have a 400 yard uphill drag back to the truck, watching my 2 hunting partners puking the hole way.
