We are heading up to the Christian Valley (Rendle Creek area) for the last of the WT bow season.

Has anyone been up there in the last couple of weeks? Can you report on deer numbers and snow levels please.

Thanks ahead

I was up there until the end of rifle season. The deer were there and coming down the valley. A few inches of snow on the ground down at river level. 8-10" deep higher up as far up as I went.

Deer were definitely migrating south, mostly nocturnal movement up until last Tuesday. But like I say an insane amount of southern headed tracks. Most of all the action is no more than 2 km up from the river most being within 1 km of the river bottom. Good Luck, with the decrease in hunters the deer should not be as edgy and move around more during the day.

Well not enough snow and not enough deer.
However at least on nice buck went past right next to my stand as I was praticing the ZZZZZZZZZ - grunt call!
Oh well next year.
