Where to shoot a bear in Grand Forks

I am heading to Grand Forks tommorow for a delivery. I will have about 5 hours in the evening to kill(literally) before I have to pick up. Anywhere close to there I can go to shoot a bear? I am not familiar with Grand Forks at all....

this is going to sound funny but get intouch with the F&G regional office , they are normally very helpfull and they can point you in th right direction.

I haven't hunted bears right around Grand Forks, but I have in the Nancy Greene Lake area. If you continue east on highway 3 it would only be about 45 minutes out of town. You'll find bears on any of the roads in the area, but I find the roads east of the lake produce more bears.
