Good job to you and your kids. Memories that will last much longer than the trips themselves.

Does your wife come along as well, or does she prefer the alone time as mine seems to? Fathter and child time afield is precious and worth more than another trophy on the wall. Mind you I try not to shoot so many Spruce Grouse nowadays, but that will likely change once mine are old enough to shoot themselves:)

Spruceys are pretty damn good when they are deep fried chicken nuggets. ;)

My wife comes along quite a few times throughout the season. She doesn't hunt herself but she likes to be a part of the family outings.

Nice pics. Good to see the kids are enjoying the sport! I'm hoping my kids will take to it as well. As for the sprucies, have you ever tried them indian-butter-chicken style? Fantastic. My kids fight for second helpings.

Too Funny I was just gonna post the same thing.. Wow the kids are getting big! I remember when Dana first posted pics of his son and bruiser bear and I couldn't wait to to start hunting with my boys. Awesome pics. The family ones are the best. Congrats on another good year Steve. Though I would have liked to see you beside that elk:wink:
