Where the heck are the Coyotes in the East Kootenays, I've only seen 3 in the last 5 years around Invermere.

I've seen about 30 the past 5 months I've been out here . They are definatly around !!
i've had two packs run into me while stillhunting at 3 metres .I see quite a few around FT Steele

I know some people have luck down in the valley bottoms/flood plain of the Kootenay. Anywhere the critters winter is a good start since they are always looking for some animals that are hurtin'. I have seen a lot of turkey/goose kills from coyotes, so check out them gobbler areas, or areas along geese/waterfowl migration.
