Well is was a great ending to a fantastic trip that was only 2.5 days!!!! This morning we got up and heading to a certain hole that we knew a 3 pointer was hanging around. Didn't find him but we did see 31 Does and fawns and 2 bucks that we didn't get shots at. So we had to head back to our hotel to check out by 11 and we decided that we would leave the back way out of Invermere up the westside road and hunt our way to Brisco. At the 9km junction we decided to head down the Horsethief one more time. 3kms later we bumped into this beauty. A first whitetail for my 66 year old father and it was shared with 3 generations of hunters.

I spent more observing the fawns to doe ratio and I only seen 3 sets of twins today. Lots of single fawns and a bunch of doe's that seemed by themselves. Not to say the fawns were laying down or hiding just behind momma.
