I am interested in hunting cougars on the ranch as well anybody ever hunted cats there?

that isnt to far from Tonys neck of the woods I would think he would have some good ideas as to the areas . you are on the island which is prime cat area? Have you been out at all?

I have hunted the gang ranch for deer and grouse and chukers the best time for deer is nov if you wont something big deer all over the place.

Ive found thebest way to hunt the ranch is to walk and walk then walk some more lots of guys road hunt it and miss most of the deer

Tony chased an easy 200lb + cougar there last fall, chase apparently lasted about 20 hours before the cat got up on a plie of logs and killed 2 of his friends dogs when they followed. I didn't get to much for details but I believe it is a guide outfitters area that takes cats so there is a little competition. Isn't the area off limits unless you get permission to tresspass?
