Well we left Nov 2 for our moose hunt. we had a group bull. Well we missed our bull (Saw 2 :( ) but my two nephews had doe tags, which both filled ( First kills ever for them) and I was lucky enough to see a small 4 point with its nose up a does butt which I dropped with my 30/06 at 150 yards one shot.
It was such an awesome trip, yes we didnt get our moose, but we came home with three deer, saw a ton of moose, and caught some beauty trout. We also found a cow moose, which we told our new friends with a cow tag where it was, and next morning they had a clean shot at it. I tell you one thing, these guys that are on this site, worked harder than anyone I have ever seen when getting this moose. They worked all day getting it back to camp. Congrats to them, and my nephews on there first kills, I will never forget this week, good friends, good food and of course the best hunting accomodations ever!!!
