Was up that way cat hunting last weekend, quite a bit more snow on the West side of Columbia Lake (Findlay/Skook FSR's) as compared to the East Side (Kootenay/Bypass FSR's)

I was out hunting the horsetheif /Red Rock lastweek.. Did see alot of whitey does and a few small bucks. We also hunted the Ravenhead and saw about a dozen whitey bucks half were small the other half were moving really quick!!!! If i was going back there I would spend some more time looking around back there.. Good Luck

Heck, I'd just go across the river at Radium and up the Forsters Landing/Horsethief FSR and hunt on foot from the water tanks west towards the rifle range.

any where above Lake Windermere on the westside road is a good bet

Red Rock was successful!!! Thank you to everyone who gave input. I just recieved a message the young fella tipped over a nice dry doe. Now Grandpa is looking for his buck. I need to get away from work to do some hunting myself!! As soon a s I get pics I'll post!
