Found this 4 point this morning. Have been having a hard time finding deer this year and this is the reason why. They were hunting for more pretty hard today.

seeing quite a few wolves up this way also, not very often I can get a shotat the marauding ba$tards, they are VERY wily, a couple of areas the deer, both whities and mulies have taken a hard hit this year, in my observations, once the snow gets deeper it will get worse,

I haven't had a lot of time for "wolfwackin" this fall, but that will change soon this winter ,
Ill include a thumbnail of a cow moose I found a couple weeks ago, feel free to expand the pic if you wish, same story, wolf predation, totally devoured in just one night!
also hearing the same from ranchers and farmers, "yes please feel free to hunt game here, but please shoot ANY wolves and coyotes" that you possibly can!

Wolves don't discriminate, they will eat any deer but they prefer those that are easier to catch.... around 20 per year each.

Just heard the same thing from some locals up in the Cache creek area last Sunday. Saw both Wolf & Coyote but was too busy hunting deer to do any target practice.

Same in my area which does not traditionally hold wolves...they are sure abundant here now though...I have found many kills and shot one in a group that was hunting the same big buck I was after...they were not afraid of me or my rifle btw and did not all leave the area after the shot(some chased the buck, some stayed and circled me). They are forming large packs and just raping the deer population here.

If they can corner it they will kill it
