A friend of mine got a draw for Elk in 8-14 for private land,nov.10 to dec.15 does anyone have any leads on the names or #'s for any of the farmers in that area? Thanks

this can be a tough hunt, a lot of the farmers don't agree with the draw and won't give you permission, and isn't it 500m within private land also, so you can hunt the surrounding hillsides, but there's only a couple access roads. My friend had this draw last year and he came up short. I heard that out of the 60 draws awarded only 5 were filled but i could be mistaking. We did see one elk but in an area that was to rugged. I have the same draw also but the later one......good luck
