I'd like to have a go at coyote hunting this winter. I'm a rookie who has the itch. lol.
I've done a fair bit of reading on predator hunting, watched alot of DVD's and have practiced with my calls and rifle. All I need are suggestions on how to find places to hunt. Not alot of my research mentioned what kind of places are optimal for predator hunting.
Are logging slashes worth setting up in? Do coyotes tend to stick closer to open farmland, making it better to get permission to hunt farmer's fields? What kind of terrain should I look for, hills, open grassland, forest?
