Wife connects with her first big game

Me my wife were out on our LEH(100 mile house) back in October just before halloween. On our second day of our hunt we run into this big fella
With 1 shot from my 30-06 browning into his boiler room, slightly quartered away at approximatley 200 yards he went 40 feet and was then done. I was so happy for my wife as this was her first one. congrats honey

Congratulations to your wife on a great bull! I grew up in 100 Mile House and didn't see too many that big. Well done. Hard to believe a 30.06 is a big enough caliber for moose. :wink:

Ravensfoot, yes my buddies are having fun with it cause infact my animal was a mere 2x2(deer) to her 6x7 bull
an old timer once told me and ole saying "do you wanna be right or do you wanna be happy"
I would take the latter of the 2 and it has been successful for me
she's definitely is hooked on hunting now I couldn't be happier
