I went out yesterday (saturday) at 1st light and immediately saw a great buck, but the fog enveloped him before I could get a tine count. Hunted the rest of the morning and only found some 2-points chasing some does.
Went out this morning (Sunday) at 1st light and saw another doe and 2-point right away. I hunted my circuit for the next 2 1/2 hours and came up with nothing. I needed to get home before 9:30, so I left the hill, and as I was nearing the bottom I caught sight of 2 does on the next hillside. I rounded the corner and found another doe and this guy no more than 30 yards away. One shot and it was all done. Since I was close to home I went there and got my son to help me get him out. Now it's time to look for Whitetails!
