Finally after a season of missed opportunities I was in the green lake area visiting family. I took the gun (of course) and went for a drive south into the heart of the Boneparte country. Saturday morning there was 2 inch of fresh snow perfect condition but no animals, saw some beauty cuts I decided i would head back into one particular cut again in the evening. I didnt even get a quarter of the way into the spot come around the corner and there is 2 moose on the tree line 50yrds from the road. After showing my daughter the moose for her first ever day with dad hunting I noticed holy sh*t one has small horns!!!!! A few seconds later my 2010 immy was on the ground with 2 days left in the season and a very excited 10yr old to witness the whole event. Just wanted to share my story from the weekend at the outlaws!!:)
