Any one have Luck in 8-09 yet on Bear ??

I've been out around 9 times so far and have seen nothing. We went out the last 2 days hard, from 9:00 A.M. till dark. Closest we have seen was some poop out near Kelowna area off the 201.

Just curious if anyone in the area has seen anything. I'm starting to think all the bears have moved to the coast or up north, lol

On a positive note, I've seen alot of moose and a ton of deer , both Mule and White Tail

Have you seen any elk? Are the moose in velvet yet?

I haven't seen any elk this year. The moose I've seen haven't got any antlers yet. The one was a bull for sure as I could see his package.

We did see one whitetail who had bumps starting on his head.

I'm heading out again today after work. I'll bring the camera and try to snap a few pics, hopefully one with a dead bear in it lol

Try up in Grizzly Creek or on the Tuzo north I have seen allot of big bears around there. The spring is the hardest time to hunt blacks around that area! So good luck and be safe.

went up yesterday after work and finally spotted 2 bears, one was too small and the other was on private property (thomas ranches). At least I now know they are starting to move around .

I have gone out a couple of times behind Penticton and OK Falls and NO bears at all. Lots of deer and a couple of moose, but no bears and very little sign. I did see a small one up in the Twin Lakes area.

Spotted 2 more yesterday, 1 momma and a cub.

Took the kids and wife out today, seen no bears , but the whitetail do now have antlers for sure.
