after 3 years of waiting and watching...the big guy finally made a mistake.

What do you all think the score will be.

Congrats on a dandy buck! Great character buck and I would estimate his score near 160.

Big and heavy-nice whitey-my guess is he grosses around 165 w/bunch of deducts. but who cares-he's still a pig!

Looks like he was bleeding from the ears. Did you finish him with unarmed combat as would Oyama?

Great buck Ken! Nice to see a heavy one or two still floating around out there. Nothing compared to the rumoured 260 nt taken up here. Will keep you posted.

Springer, you are bang on. I went down to our local hunting store with my partner and his wife and we had this guy scored for the local big buck contest. Came out at 159 and 0.

Not sure if my partner is going to post the story or not, but he let his wife shoot this one. We've had trail cam pictures of this guy for 3 years now, but he never made a mistake until yesterday. Looked like he got into a good scrap earlier in the morning. He had a hole from another deers horn just below his eye.

Nice buck. I had a local from that area take me in there on an elk hunt. I saw a 160/170 class mulies in there. Nice country to hunt.

Cool, I've only been up there once, much later in the winter. Never knew that quality of whitetail was up that way. Good on you!

Lostman,that is one very nice bush buck...I know the area very well ,did you take up a stand or were you still hunting for him, and what was your weapon of choice... kinda nice not having to deal with any one else [hunting the fields) how far was the shot and what time of the day did ya get him..... oh was the area you meant to say not TUGGINS MTN.:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

i did...but couldnot break the horns (antlers) off like Oyama...

using a Doghouse, 45/70 and 55yard shot. and 10:38am....this bugger has changed his time everyweek for hte last several years... and only stays for less than a minute...according ot the cameras.
