Im heading up to the kamloops are next weekend to hopefully shoot my first deer.I have hunted my whole life mostly birds ,and been with my dad for many deer but have never got one myself.This is the first year I have taken it seriously as the past few I have spent hunting with my dog a gsp.I have got my mule deer and white tail tags and have three full days to find something which of these speices do you think I might have better luck with and which direction should I head in north south east west I am staying at a friends in kamloops He doesnt hunt but he loves guns four wheelin and hiking so I figure if I show him some action hunting is going to be his next step.Any help would be much appriciated.

You odds are generally a lot better for muleys. There are WT's around but you have to know where to go.

Best advice I can give you is to scroll back through the threads and posts on this site....there has been some very good imformation offered by members.

there are definately more muleys in kamloops than whitetails
