were to hunt on sunshine coast

I have two days coming up were i have some time for a hunt. I'm going to be in pender harbour and i'm wondering were the best hunting is up there. I don't have a quad or anything, so i need to find a plae in the bush to park the truck and then probably hike. Any info would be helpful. thanks.

Try going up Trout lake rd decent to drive in and there are cut blocks

If you are hunting right close to Pender Harbour, be sure you are beyond the power line. That is the second power line! Lots of people have got caught on that one. You might go just past Madiera Park, and at the bottom of misery mile, there is a road on your right that goes a long way back up the mountain. Some side roads will take you out onto the power line, probably good hunting there. Could also check out a road close to the high school. It goes up to anold mine, but it is closed a long way up due to a slide. Good hiking, though. Dave
