Caveman had a post a while back that mentioned that area for big muleys. I am only interested in blues and chukars so if you see any of those plz give me a buzz.

Your thinking Region 5. This area is region 3 and its open right through to Dec.10.

Lots of good pockets for deer up there! Good hiking or driving into areas that hold decent deer. PM sent!

Please take Jelvis with you and do us all a favour. He can keep you entertained in the evenings. Just don't call him a guide, don't want MOE on his case for illegal guiding, but he can show you around the area.
Of course, you are under no obligation.

I will have to digress on this post. By all accounts, my 2nd fiddle is played in the back of the auditorium compared to your virtuoso performance front and center.

As proof of the pudding, here are some of your posts that will bear witness to that fact.

I heard all the deer in that area died last year after our horrendous winter....

Actually, it's no better no worse than many areas around, but it does offer a diversity in hunting opportunities from open country to thick as the hair on your dog's back, sub-alpine meadows to valley-bottom sagebrush. It's neat that way, but I wouldn't say that it's so much better than many areas south of town if that's where you're coming from.
