Deer hide tanning

I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a deer hide tanned,I had some done afew years back but cannot reach the place that did it .I use the hide to cover the skull on my mounts like in the picture in my avatar,I would prefer the lower mainland but am willing to ship if need be,

i used Ray Weins last year-turned out great. he's a sponser on this site I think. Ray weins taxidermy. Had mine done with the fur on, but can't imagine that would make much of a difference?

most taxidermists dont acually do their own tanning they alwayse send them out so so facilities i know a lot go to vernon check it out. i do know a small time fur tanner where i live and he could have the hides done for u right away but thats in the ek pm me if u are interested he alwayse does paying customers first lol

Does anyone know the name of the tanning outfit in Vernon or have contact info for them ?

X2 Pacific Fur is the only Tanery in Lower Mainland.

Thanks for the info ,I called BC FUR and they said that their machine is down right now, but They would do an exchange for a hide that they have in stock $65-75$ or about 200$ wih the fur on.
