So I've been hunting some Alpine up the Coquihalla, It is in region 2 but region 8 is pretty close. A buddy and I have spotted a big 4 pnt up there about 10 days ago. I know the deer winter on the region 8 side, but do you think The buck will still be up high at this time of year for the rut? He had 2 does with him last time I was up. Im assuming there is about 3-4 inches of snow up there, not sure if its worth climbing up again, thanks for any input

as long as there is feed for them they will stay up high untill the snow forces them to go down. Ive seen mulies in 2 feet of snow up high in mid november still. I would check it out again, or if you know where they are planning on migrating to head in from there.

If there are does there will be bucks too.
I've seen where does are the last ones to leave a spot because of snow depth.
