2010 Muley Buck

Been out hunting pretty hard this year looking for a big buck, passed up 126 other bucks till I saw this guy. Watched him bed and stand around for about 1 1/2 hours till he finally presented a shot, then I hammered him from about 200 yards away. He's my biggest buck to date and I couldn't be more stoked!

haha nope 126 other bucks. i'd say an average day out this year I would see 6 to 10 bucks a day. yesterday when I got him, he was only the 2nd buck spotted, the other being a 140 class drop tine buck lol... great day!

This buck was all primed up for the rut, but to my suprise hardly had a smell to him. With these warmer weather we have been seeing of late, the rut is just gettin going.

126 bucks? I've has permission to hunt to some of the hwy5A ranch land and seen that many deer a day too, also with lots of bucks, but looks like you weren't even hunting the ranch lands. Very nice job! Wish I had that much time to hunt!

yea i've been hittin the bush pretty hard since sept 10. usually gettin out twice a week.

of those 126 bucks, i'd say about 20 or so were 4 points. September was awsome, saw tons of bucks then...October slowed down with all the added pressure and November was just picking up.
