If you have an Alberta hunting licence and move to BC do you have to rewrite the exam?

As Yukon said....no....BUT, you do need to get a BC Hunter Number and to have been a resident for 6 months prior to purchasing a license.

Also, if you want to "host" a buddy (Accompany to Hunt Permit), you need to have had a big game license for 3 out of 5 years, unless you take CORE, then it is 2 out of 5 years........

He will have to prove he took a hunting course equivelent to our c.o.r.e. before they will give him or her a hunters number or else he would have to write the exam here
