We just got back from Savona after two days of hunting for chukars...We hunted along the rail tracks, up and down the mountains as far as walhachin and yet we didn't see a single chukar.These birds are my favorite game bird and I would love to find some hunt able populations my only problem is that I don't have a dog yet. is there anywhere along Thompson river or near oliver where there is a good population of these birds? I am going to try around oliver before the season closes.
