Yes it is my first deer Period.
He is now 215lbs of meat in my freezer.
To make a long story short i saw a doe on my way to setup for the evening. Decided to get out and follow her down the hill got 50 yards in and he was standing there. I had to triple look at him counting tines had to me sure he was legal. I got him in my scope and boom i missed from maybe 40 yards. He took up off the hill and i pursued got on to the road and saw him in a clearing about 100 yards away, I setup up again took a deep breath and boom he just dropped where he stood.

i have a good idea where this buck was shot. and if i m correct well i know there is lots of big bucks in that area. i just never see them where u can shoot them. but then again i could be wrong. and jelly u were wrong about the 35 inch monster by the way

Bumped into your deer yesterday at the taxidermists. I am up looking for his brother right now! Wow. That is what makes me hunt these stupid deer. Personally I like hunting everything but....but a buck like that keeps me out here. I would full mount a deer like that! Congrats! Definitley sell the story. Contact me if you want some cash.
