Finally got my account up and running. Have spent a lot of time looking and listening to some great success stories this season. Here's my 2010 Bull I harvested on October 18th. Only my second bull ever, and a little bigger than the first, so I'm quite happy. He chuckled once then screamed at me about 20 minutes later. He was making a move to wind me so I did some quick backpeddaling and caught him walking through an opening. 80 yards with the .325WSM 200 grain and he didn't want to go to far.

Ya. I was creeping along bugling and cow calling for about 30 minutes, pretending I was a young bull harassing some cows, before he chuckled from about 300 yards away. Immediately I knew it sure wasn't a hunter. I kept calling and got within 100 yards but he wouldn't come out of the thick stuff. He let out a dirty scream then tried to circle around me and that was his last mistake. Sure was a load off my shoulders.

Congrats....Nice bull....

Did you not read the unwritten rule, that if you post a picture of a dead elk, within your first 10 posts that you have to buy the first round at the East Kootenay HBC X-Mas party...AND we are a thirsty bunch :-D
