Oct 30 I got my meat buck.He is no trophy deer just a nice sized fork.I got him around 2pm after searching all day.I went with my uncle and cousin. We were in Reg 8, after lunch we decided to keep on going on a diffrent side of a valley. My uncle was going to take the high road and my cousin and I we going to take the lower road but had to go back where the trucks are to get there.
On the way back we both were getting tired from the long day, and could see my cousin start to fall asleep on the bike. All of a sudden in front of us down the road a deer came out walked across the road to the other side and stopped behind a little tree.I told my cousin stop don't move.He said what there is nothing there. I said yes there is a deer.He said no there isn't and didn't believe me.I looked with the binos and said the deer but because it was looking down the hill I didn't see horns. After telling my cousin don't turn the bike off and he did, the deer turned its head and withe binos I saw some horns.I quickly grabbed the gun and from 132 yards my browning abolt 7mm rem mag with 162gr hornady took a poke at the deer. After the shot the deer was gone no jump, stumble or run it really just disapreared out of thin air like a ghost. My cousin went nutts on me thinking I was messing around and shot a tree. He said okay now find this deer you say you shot.
Now my uncle gets down the hill asking what happen yelling at us for messing around. We get to the stop no blood no sign. Now I got both of them yelling and mocking me to find the deer.I'm looking trying to find this buck I know I saw and shot. With my uncle hunting for over 30 years and his good eyes he saw the deer from the corner of his eye and thought it would be funny to make look more while he had a smoke and mocking me.
Now he walks down the back were I'm trying to look for the deer, grabs my head and faces it down the bank. I didn't see it at frist but there it was.All I said I told you boys.LOL.

If someone could help me put pics on to show I can email them to you. Thanks
