trout-south island lakes

with the weather cooling down,I just went out and tried for some trout yesterday for the first time since May -I troll a wedding band right on top ,no weight except a big barrel swivel and the fishing is excellent.

i have done a bit of spincasting mid island lakes, mostly up high and have done well but my buddy who fly fishes all the same lakes is slaying them this fall.
