After hearing about all the bucks that i've been seeing and passing up in region 3, my dad came down with a friend to find a couple of bucks for the freezer before they got rutted up too much. Turned out to be a success, got the 4 point in an area that i have my trail cam set up, he was with another 4 point about the same size. Then this morning was really foggy so after a little walk we were driving to a different area and spotted the decent 2 point with another spike and some does so my dad's friend shot him. Had to drag the 4 point about 350 yrds up a hill then another 500 yards back to the truck, then the 2 point was shot, gutted, and in the back of the truck in about 20 mins. Now its time to find a bigger buck for myself! Should start getting good within the next couple weeks!

Nicely done. I hear ya, I've been busy "guiding" (not officially) my son to his mule deer and my buddy to his moose....no it's my time to get some game bagged for this year for myself.
