Hey I was curious has anybody been up in the chute lake area?? Or does anyone know what the hunting is typically like there at this time of year. Thinking about going up there this weekend. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

Heard they were erecting a traffic light near the resort due to all the traffic.

If you like to hunt where the people are, then Chute Lake would be a great place to go.

It may be a zoo up there but we took an elk and saw a few respectfull mules and dink whitetails. Climb up high and glass down. If you are off the road you will do fine

It can be good hunting, always seems to produce, I've pulled a few bucks out of there since its close to home, but like anywhere, get away from the main roads, and theres lots of area to get out and stretch the legs.

Deer are less spooked up there from the hordes of people everywhere.

Just walk down over the hill to Hubbard's cabin in Ok Mtn Park. Take lots of bullets, because you'll see piles of game! Big ones, too. Bring your friends.

Fisher you got the coordinates? Would love someone to drop a big B&C whitie or muley with some field pictures in front of his shack.
