anybody hunting Deadman creek in the Savona area this year?It seems to be one of those places with a few resident deer,but if you hit the mule deer migration,it can be very productive[once we shot 3 nice 4x4's in one morning]Due to the proximety to Kamloops,there seemed to be lots of road hunters-we camped and walked the bush.I heard white tails were moving in,but more south of the highway
I believe it used to hold good moose populations back in the 60's before they imploded,but last time I was there[several years ago] we saw a few tracks and found a nice shed.Found a nice sheep horn too
