My Biggest buck to date!!

This is one of the few Bucks I saw this fall, only shooter that is! Not to much of a story behind this one, Got him on my way to work yesterday morning. My biggest buck to date!! Also the first animal that I have ever shot that I got to retrive the bullet!! I shot him with a Stevens 200 in 7mm Mag. 160grn Winchester Accubonds at about 35yrds. Retained weight was 89.6grn. Forgot to take a camera with me, so I had to take photos in the backyard studio!!

Thought it was funny too! The bullet quatered from left shoulder to right shoulder, clipping the spine. There was no exit hole on the off shoulder, so I figured it must be in there somewhere, Found it just laying in the neck cavity while it was hanging!!!

Congrats on your buck .308 nice and even. Always nice when there close to the truck and not to far from home. Glad to see the accubond did it's job held up pretty good for a 35 yd shot out of a 7mm mag:wink:. I think many of us believe that buck should go on the wall. Never know when you get a better one.

I did the same thing Nov 28/08 shot my biggest antlered buck east of the loop @ appr 7am and was back in the loop at my first work stop @ 9am...
