New to bowhunting in BC

Hi there! I recently moved to BC from Manitoba, and have been itching to do some bowhunting for deer here. Problem is, getting set up here seems daunting. I don't know anyone in Vancouver who hunts, so I got no hookups. Also, I live in Vancouver, so just getting to a rural area is pretty much a day trip - hard to commit to if I don't know where I'm going.

I'm looking for a place within a few hours of Vancouver. Any ideas on where to start?
