Been on a few trips this year but havnt sqeezed the trigger on anyting quite yet! I have been out a couple times trying to help my buddy get his first deer. had no luck a couple weeks ago so this time i thought i would take him to one of my good spots that has produced over the years. It sure didnt take long, we had only been hunting for an hour and i was actually just starting to show him around when we spotted this buck slowly walking through a cut with 6 does. he stood broadside at 100 yards and my buddy dropped him right there with a perfect quartering away heart shot! He was pretty pumped and i would be too if my first buck was this nice! Notice the cool stickers

Get a photobucket account, download direct from your computer, then copy and past the IMG link and it will work. If not then do a search under pictures sub-forum and you will find all sorts of info on posting picts.

One thing, post your picts on top of each other, not side by side.

A lot of hunters go their whole lives without shooting something with "trash"...Drop tines, kickers, whatever you wish to call them...(I know I am one, so far)...

Yep thats what i kept telling him! I have never seen a deer with "junk" so this was cool for me to see for sure. He was a very happy hunter! cheers
