Big Horn sheep [Archive]

Went out early this morning around 730 to see if I could get close to some sheep. I am from Ontario and have never had the chance to see these guys up close before so decided I wanted to check them out. Got within 20 yards of this guy definite bow range but I wasn't hunting just viewing

Saw a few rams hot on the tail of some ewes watched them for a good hour but she was having none of it

Beautiful animals! That one looks short to me for being legal... But the pictures are great trophies as well.... Congrats! Lots more out there for photo opts in this neck of the woods... Good to see you got out and enjoyed mother natures bounty!

Yes both sides were just inches short of being legal
