Filled out my Cow Calf LEH 5 minutes after my partner dropped the calf. I heard his shot then saw this cow wandering up through a cut. She had no calf though so it worked out perfect.

Spotted this fella just off the highway about 2 hours from home. A great finish to a great trip. By the way if your on the yellowhead and need a burger and a beer stop at The Log Cabin in Avola, just south of Blue River. Full 10s for atmosphere, food and cold beer. Oh ya i forgot, after 4 days of hunting there are 42 fewer grouse in that region. 41 ruffed and 1 spruce.

Thanks Everyone. She was a small cow but i have no idea how old she might have been. Im guessing a 2 or 3 year old. Might not have even had a calf ever?
