Headed out to my honey hole early this morning. It was a nice cool night last night, so there was a lot of frost, and still a skiff of snow from a few days earlier. Climbed up to a spot where I could see lots of area , and was watching this bull moose chase 3 cows around a cut block. I saw that same bull with 4 cows near that same spot 2 weeks ago. He was still going hard!

Anyways, this buck came over the hill in front of my about 150 yards away, and I finally got to christen my new .280 rem. 140 gr partition stopped him in his tracks. Then the work started.

Ive had a pretty lucky year so far. I think im done now though, freezer is full to the brim. Its kind of depressing to be down so early though, haha.

Great photo's and Super looking Buck! Packing out meat is always sweeter than than trying to find it! Congrats on a great hunt!

Great Looking buck...we were also out this morning..some of the pics i have almost look like the exact same area we were in, some beautiful country around the loops...i connected with a buck as well but nothing that looks like that!!...Congrats !!
