Gun Storage?

Ive been hunting for about 10 years so I am not new to the sport. However I am new to the whole gun purchasing and having a gun in my name. Due to a recent seperation between my parents I had seen my gun taken away, being in my fathers name. I now have my PAL and am looking to buy a new gun. The problem is I live with my mother and she is hellbent on not having guns in her house anymore. So I was wondering, if I purchase a rifle is it legal to have it stored in my name at a friends who also has his PAL and a gun safe??

You can store a firearm at anyones house. If they dont have a pal then you have to have it in a safe and only you can have access to the key and be able to open it. If he has a pal just give him the registration for it then it like lending it. Just buy a safe and put it there and you keep the keys..If you just put it in his safe then you must leave the regi card with it.
