I am going to go white tail hunting later in the year near Ft St John for buck , interested in big one only (freezer full of elk already:-D). I am going up to Boundary area (Greenwood area, end of month to wander and maybe get a white tail deer. I don't want to get my bag limit there so that I wouldn't be able to go up north later on. Can I soot white tail doe and /or white tail buck and /or mule deer buck, where legal (any/ which two of above) so i can still hunt white tail buck in Fort St John area and stay under Provincial bag limit of 3 deer.

Yes you can shoot 2 region 8 deer as long as the combination of species falls within the specifications for the Region (ie not two mule deer). Regardless of what you shoot (legally), you can then go to any other region to get your third deer. The type of deer you get for your third is not tied in any way to the type of deer you got in Region 8. For example you could get 3 mule deer bucks as long as each one is in a different Region.
