Well, we just found out on the weekend that my wife passed her hunting CORE, she found the bird ID was the hardest next on the list is her PAL......
So she decided to sit back and relax on Mothers day cause she felt she deserved it. Here is a pic of her in the yard with our oldest, who also cannot wait till she can hunt

My girl-friend is thinking about taking CORE as well, so she can come out with me. She likes firing my .270, and she claims that the 130gr bullets dont hurt as much as 150gr's.
I've never shot a .260, what is it similar to?

think of a 243 mixed with a 270, pretty much sums it up

some call it a womans rifle, if so, Im a dainty boy! :lol:

She likes to shoot my 30-06. She does not know it yet but I have bought her a LH 30-06 Savage 110c for $100. A few cosmetic scratches but a great rifle. My neighbor sold it to me cause he is retired and does not want his rifles any more. Health not so good. My buddy is storing it at his place so he can reblue it and refinish the wood stock

nice job with passing the core, good of you to buy her a rifle, I keep telling my wife that is why I keep buying rifles, looking for the perfect for her. So far I haven't found her one but many for me!!! The search continues....

No kidding, I took her and the kids on a drive yesterday cause thats what she wanted to do on Mothers Day. In one stretch we saw 6 bears in 10 minutes. The wife spotted 4 of them first. But I was driving and dodging water bars....:oops:
