Puntledge river is open on the island and some amazing fishing going on right now Springs Coho and Chum
still seeing the odd silver spring in the 25lb range
Coho still comming up bullet clean and up to 20lbs +
Chum are the big dogs in the pools this year smallest ive seen yet is 22lbs
runs are late but wow when they come in they come in waves
beeautifull site to see
Coho Retention was opened this year first time we could keep them in 3 years i think it did get opened last year but well after they had all run the river
if you have never fished big fish or alot of fish in the same river this is the place to go
