Well after the LEH's came out, my two buddies and I were shocked to find we all had got the draw for Bull Moose in 5-13. I have hunted the area on and off for the past twenty years. I have found since the GOS for Moose went to LEH, the populations have increased more with every passing year, so we were very excited to return.
The plan was to head up on the 17th of September, but the excitement got the better of us and we headed up a day early. We arrived at camp and went to work setting up my army tent. Next morning we headed out for our first morning hunt.........
I had visions of seeing Moose all over the place, not so, as a matter of fact, the 3 of us hunted separately for 8 days before my buddy K managed to take a nice immi heading back to meet up with the us. file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/wayne/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-16.png

Three days later, my bud T called a bull in from over a ridge at around 700yds, at 10am. The bull came trucking straight through the open cut block to 150yds, where he stopped and the wind direction changed, so the shot was taken and #2 was down.

On the last day of my LEH, the bulls were definitely warming up, and I was able to harvest my Moose.
