Here is a thread for all the great tasting white girls this season:mrgreen: For all the diligent hbc'ers doing their part for the mulie numbers by taking tasty whitetail does. Pics preferred, stories accepted.

Had hoped to start this off with a trophy shot of my own but life has worked against me so far. Had to work the opener, and today found out that about three dozen hunters know one of my favorite whitetail holes :-D Saw two guys doing their part with a pair of nice looking whitie does gutted out, so i congratulated them and they definitely were happy.

We tried to do our part but most of the one's we saw were within 10 or 15 minutes of the roads to or from our hunts. We saw 2 on Saturday who would have been perfect shooters and were in no hurry to move. Come Sunday and Monday though it was like they had seen the regs and the two each we saw on those two days were really skittish and in a hurry to get moving.

Dropped in her tracks with a neck shot from a 243win, loaded with 100grn Sierra GK's! A reduced load that my daughter uses!! Sorry about the mess, not one drop of water in the area to clean her up with!

Great work guys! Some fine looking meat hitting the ground already, congratulation all. I blew another chance on a white girl last night, didn't want to take a low % shot and then she scented me and was gone.

This is some of the best fun I've had in a while:)
