you wont find many whitetails along the highway until u get to merritt....go for a drive up kane valley, swakum mountain or otter valley closer to princeton

you can always head out towards the flats around hathume lake area. lots of whitey does in there.

you turn off the coq, to get there I think it is sunset main, and take any road off of there, look and you will find, would love to see your son get a deer!
